游戲簡介：

    由日本SEGA發行，預定2008年七月底推出，由PSP獨佔的角色扮演RPG新作：《夢幻之星：攜帶版》（Phantasy Star Portable），現在官方釋出最新游戲畫面與宣傳影片，供玩家參考，同時日本世嘉還宣布將於2008年七月初釋出本作的體驗版。

    《夢幻之星：攜帶版》由日本 Alfa System 公司制作，是繼承《夢幻之星：新宇宙》世界觀的系列新作。系統部分則是以《夢幻之星：新宇宙伊爾米那斯的野心》為基礎加以改良。游戲採用原創故事，時空背景設定在《夢幻之星：新宇宙》與《夢幻之星：新宇宙伊爾米那斯的野心》之間，具備多重結局。玩家將扮演保衛古拉爾太陽系的“守護者”新手成員，為了找出多起恐怖攻擊事件的原因，而與機器人搭檔薇薇安一同展開冒險。

    游戲承襲系列作特色，並針對掌上型主機特性加以調整改良。游戲一開始玩家首先必須創造自己的分身角色，可針對種族性別五官與身材等進行細部微調，接著是決定擔任自己幫手的搭檔機器人類型。所創造的角色將同時運用於故事模式與多人模式。戰斗類型由《夢幻之星：新宇宙》的十五種簡化為八種，並加入新的“上級輔助士”。收錄超過800種武器，數量居系列作之冠，包含道具在內總數超過1500種，其中包括許多出自世嘉其它游戲的趣味武器。之外並廢除生產要素，簡化武器道具取得流程。

    游戲收錄多樣化的冒險舞台以及各具特色的眾多怪物，並追加多隻頭目級的怪物，具備震撼的造型與行動，並追加先前所沒有的動作，更具挑戰性。提供豐富的深入鑽研要素，玩家可以努力取得各式各樣的稱號、補足怪物與武器道具圖鑒、閱覽任務履歷等。支持“Wi-Fi”無線網絡局域聯機多人游玩，最多可讓四名玩家同時使用故事模式所培育的角色組隊並肩作戰。並且提供網絡聯動功能，可與《夢幻之星：新宇宙伊爾米那斯的野心》網絡模式聯動，下載專屬的聯動任務游玩，或是將既存的角色數據輸入到游戲中使用。目前由PSP獨佔《夢幻之星：攜帶版》預定2008年 7月31日發售，游戲售價為5,040日元（含稅）。日前世嘉宣布本作將會在2008年七月初提供收錄故事模式初期與多人模式的下載體驗版，供玩家試玩，有興趣的玩家不妨多多留意。
