Janice 在2005年憑翻唱黎明金曲「我這樣愛你」和「情深說話未曾講」的英文版而走紅，轉眼間推出了四張專輯。繼去年《Serving You》，Janice 回歸音樂的最基本，以她最擅長唱的英文歌唱出自我。《Morning》是 Janice 出道以來首張全英文歌專輯，十首原創英文歌的曲風由爵士樂、法式惰懷、騷靈、搖滾至田園小品不等。主打歌「Rainbow」由新加坡音樂人Taz為她度身訂做，以彩虹的七彩顏色來傳達愛的訊息，Janice 在曲中演繹高音部分，盡顯功架。碟內亦收錄了她較早前為為宣揚毒害的訊息的禁毒歌曲「999」，曲中以節奏強勁令青少年有所共鳴。
